Business Systems Analyst

Cameron McMillin is a Business Systems Analyst at the University of Georgia’s Institute for Disaster Management (IDM). Cameron graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in Business Analytics. He has served in the US Air Force Reserves for 14 years, initially as an Aircraft Electrician and currently as a C-17 Loadmaster. His responsibilities involve ferrying cargo across the globe to fulfill Department of Defense strategic and tactical objectives. His military background has provided him with expertise in logistics, process improvement, and professional development.

In his role as a Business Systems Analyst, Cameron’s primary responsibilities involve analyzing, improving, and managing process and data systems that support IDM’s educational efforts, research initiatives, and grant executions. Additionally, he handles inventory management and provides comprehensive IT support within the organization.

In his free time, Cameron is dedicated to his family. He and his wife enjoy travel, raising their children, spending time at Lake Sinclair, and supporting foster families through the Chosen for Life Ministry. Cameron continually seeks ways to improve upon and contribute to his community.
